• Participation in the development and review of regulations in the energy and oil and gas industries
• Interstate and international cooperation in the provision of technical regulation services
• Development and examination of national standards (ST RK), interstate standards (GOST), organization standards (STO), and other regulatory documents in the energy and oil and gas industries, as well as related industries
• Installation and updating of the Full-text electronic database of regulatory documents of the oil and gas industry and related industries
• Preparation and issuance of an annual List of valid regulatory documents for the oil and gas industry and related industries
• Preparation and release of a monthly information index of oil and gas industry regulations
• Based on the monitoring of the activities of the oil and gas industry, determining priority areas for development, proposals for the revision, adoption and cancellation of standards, regulatory and technical documents in the energy and oil and gas industries.
